Over $3 Million In Settlements for Multiple Victims of Sexual Abuse
Two young girls were sexually abused by the husband of a woman who owned and operated a day care facility in her home. The plaintiffs established evidence which proved the wife knew, or reasonably should have known, her husband was abusing children in her home, which triggered insurance coverage through her home owner's policy of insurance.
A teenage boy was sexually abused by a group of classmates at a private high school. The plaintiff was able to prove the high school failed to properly supervise its students, and knew, or should have known, the plaintiff was going to be a target of abuse by his peers because of the plaintiff's unique disabilities and special needs.
